形态描述：肉质草本，高35-50厘米。茎基部稍平卧，中空，直径6-10毫米，干时有沟棱，分枝，无毛或在花序上被疏柔毛。茎叶多数，薄至纸质，下部和中部叶具柄；叶片椭圆形，长4-12厘米，宽2-6厘米，顶端钝，具小尖头，基部圆形或楔形，全缘或有疏圆齿状齿，侧脉3-4 (6)对，弯曲，细脉连结成网，两面被短柔毛；叶柄长1-3厘米，基部有具齿缺的圆耳；上部叶状似苞叶，较小，有明显的耳。头状花序直径14-17毫米，2-5个在上部排成疏伞房状；花序梗长6-23毫米，上部被短柔毛。总苞宽钟状，长8-9毫米，宽14-17毫米，基部有多数线形小苞片；总苞1层，约14，披针形，长8-12毫米，宽1-1.3毫米，顶端近三角形，被疏微毛。小花约50，伸出总苞外；花黄色，花冠长10-12毫米，管部细，长7-9毫米，上部扩大，裂片长约2毫米。花药基部钝；花柱分枝有披针形附器，被乳头状毛。瘦果圆柱形，浅褐色无毛或被微毛；冠毛细，白色，绢毛状，长10毫米。
